Group Information Sessions and Tours

Get a glimpse of all that UVM offers by attending an information session and student-guided walking tour of central campus. Unless otherwise noted, these sessions start at the Admissions Visitors Center at 184 South Prospect Street, Burlington, Vermont. The program generally lasts two hours.

  • Weekdays: August 31-December 7 most weekdays
  • Saturdays: September 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; October 6, 13, 20; November 3; December 1

Open Houses

Open Houses allow you the opportunity to learn about admissions and financial aid, see campus, and meet faculty members and academic advisors. Explore UVM's learning communities where you can live with students with similar interests and passions. If you are coming from out of town, consider booking a hotel early as Vermont is an extremely popular destination during foliage season. The program begins at 9 a.m. and concludes around 1 p.m.

Transfer Information Sessions and Tours

This program is for prospective transfer students who are interested in learning more about the many opportunities at the University of Vermont. The session will include an overview of UVM and the admissions process for transfer students, followed by a student-led walking tour of campus. The program generally lasts two hours.

Students are encouraged to bring unofficial transcripts. If further evaluation is needed, students are welcome to leave their transcripts for advisement and unofficial transfer credit evaluations.

  • Tuesday, November 27 at 10:00 a.m.
