Summer Schedule

Group Information Sessions and Tours

Get a glimpse of all that UVM offers by attending an information session and student-guided walking tour of central campus (unless otherwise noted, these sessions start at Admissions Visitors Center, 184 South Prospect Street). The program generally lasts two hours.

  • June 5–August 21, 2017: most weekdays, including Saturdays

Transfer Information Sessions and Tours

This program is for prospective transfer students who are interested in learning more about the many opportunities at the University of Vermont. The session will include an overview of UVM and the admissions process, specific for transfer students, followed by a student-led walking tour of campus. The tour lasts about 75 minutes; plan to spend two hours with us. Students are encouraged to bring unofficial transcripts. If further evaluation is needed, students are welcome to leave their transcripts for advisement and unofficial transfer credit evaluations.

UVM Preview

This program is ideal for rising high school seniors and juniors.  It includes a general overview of UVM and the admissions process, a student and faculty panel, financial aid and scholarship session, followed by a student-led walking tour of campus. Representatives from UVM's seven schools and colleges will be available prior to the opening session for general questions.

Open Houses

Our open house program includes an Admissions presentation, campus facilities and residence hall tour, academic and student services fair and student panel. Arrive at 8:45 a.m. and plan to be with us until noon.

Vermont In Person (VIP) Days

High school seniors see the University of Vermont in action. Our VIP program includes a presentation by our Admissions staff, panel discussions, a campus tour, a mock class, as well as an Academic Information Session. Reservations are required for VIP days. Arrive at 8:30 a.m. and plan to be with us until 1 p.m.
